He started 20th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 155-lap race. Bohn is currently 12th in the 2017 NWMT championship standings after this event.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. cut a tire in the pits. Because he will not start on the four tires on which he qualified, he will be forced to drop to the back to starts the race.

Earnhardt will have to give up his 18th-place position on the grid. He was not particularly fast in practice and should not be considered a good value to finish in the top 10.

Brendan Gaughan (No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro) finished 33rd in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

He started 12th in the lineup and completed 148 of the 150 laps run. Gaughan is currently 14th in the 2017 NXS driver championship point standings after this event.

Ryan Reed started the NASCAR XFINITY Series Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway 15th in front of his hometown crowd and made the right adjustments throughout the race to secure a solid finish.

Extra time on pit road on the final stop to fix a tire rub due to contact, cost him valuable track position. The extended pit stop set him up 21st for the restart with six laps remaining. Reed was able to make up some ground and ultimately crossed the finish line in the 15th position.(Roush Fenway Racing) Reed is currently fourth in the 2017 NXS point standings.(Rotoworld)

Garrett Smithley (No. 0 teamjdmotorsports.com Chevrolet Camaro) finished 26th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Service King 300 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

He started 30th in the lineup and completed all of the 150 laps run. Smithley is currently 15th in the 2017 NXS driver championship point standings after this event.

Brandon Ward (No. 19 Spaugh Racing Technologies) has always enjoyed racing at the three-eighths mile Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC.

On Saturday night he enjoyed it even more in victory lane after winning the Orange Blossom 125 Southern Modified Racing Series (SMRS) feature from the pole. It was his career-first win in the series. Danny Bohn (No. 40) led the first 75 laps and finished second. James Civali (No. 79) wheeled his car to third with Jason Myers and Jeremy Gerstner completing the top five.

It was a clean night at Irwindale Event Center. And that's just how Todd Gilliland wanted it.

Leading the field from pole, and hot off a win in the first NAPA Auto Parts Twin 100 feature, the 16-year-old from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, held off a hard-charging Chris Eggleston to win for the third time in 2017 and 10th time in his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West career. The victory, his second at Irwindale, also awards him a $10,000 prize for finishing in the top-three spots in the four-race NAPA 500 Challenge Series.

Ruben Garcia Jr. took a 1:15.206 minute lap on board the No. 88 Farmacias del Ahorro Toyota in qualification to win the pole for the NASCAR Peak Mexico Series (NPMS) Difrenosa 120 at Mexico's Autodromo Monterrey.

The HDI Racing Team driver was the fastest of the 29-car lineup for Sunday's season-opener. Ruben Rovelo (No. 28 Toyota) will share the front row with Garcia. Rogelio Lopez (No. 6 Toyota) was third fastest.

For the fourth consecutive time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, Todd Gilliland will be the first under the green flag.

Turning the quickest lap of the day at 18.054 seconds [99.701 mph], the reigning West Series champion bested Bill McAnally Racing teammate Chris Eggleston by only 0.006 seconds to earn the 21 Means 21 Pole Award at Irwindale Speedway. The result stands as the ninth pole for the Sherrills Ford, North Carolina native and third straight to start the 2017 season.

Michael Self was the man in charge at Irwindale Speedway, as the No. 9 Sunrise Ford/Eibach Springs/Lucas Oil Ford topped practice for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

Ripping around the half-mile in 18.097 seconds [99.464 mph], the six-time series winner bested his Sunrise Ford Racing teammate Julia Landauer by 0.220 seconds. Landauer posted the second-best overall time at an 18.317, as she finished second in both sessions. Chris Eggleston was third best followed by last week's winner Todd Gilliland and Nicole Behar.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Kyle Larson, driving the No. 42 ENEOS Chevrolet Camaro, won the Service King 300, his sixth victory in 94 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.

This is his first victory and third top-10 NXS finish in 2017. It is his second victory and fifth top-10 finish in five NXS races at Auto Club Speedway (ACS). Cup driver Joey Logano (second) posted his ninth top-10 finish in nine NXS races at ACS and his second top-10 NXS finish in 2017. Cup driver Kyle Busch (third) posted his 15th top-10 finish in 18 NXS races at ACS. William Byron (fifth) was the highest finishing rookie. Elliott Sadler (finished seventh) leads the point standings by 17 points over William Byron.

Chase Elliott posted the fastest single lap in final practice for the Auto Club 400 with a speed of 187.480 mph.

Elliott was second-fastest in the first session. The team seems to have found whatever they lacked on Friday. He rolls off the grid from the seventh row, which puts him in a bit of a sweet spot in terms of place-differential potential. Elliott should move up and combine points for a top-10 finish with those for advancement. With a little luck, Elliott will contend for the win.
