Johnny Cueto surrendered five runs on eight hits over six innings in Wednesday's loss to the Dodgers.
Cueto allowed a two-run double to Yasmani Grandal with two outs in the first inning -- on a pitch Buster Posey would have needed to block at the plate had Grandal not hit it -- and another run in the third inning on a wild pitch. The Dodgers would ding Cueto for two more runs in the sixth inning to polish off the scoring on his line. He struck out six and walked one on the afternoon. Cueto will bring a 4.50 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 52/16 K/BB ratio (over 58 innings) into a road start against the Cubs next time out. May 17 - 6:23 PM
